Power pod just died

As above really, went out for a ride after about 4-5 minutes no power was showing on garmin. Checked power pod no leds on so thought battery had died plugged it in when I got home to charge and nothing, still no charge led or anything.
Any ideas?

Press-hold button for about 12 seconds (hard reset). When you see light flash, release button. This should bring your PP back to life
