Why do I need to do a daily calibration ride?

Forgive me if I missed something with the new firmware but as the subject line says? Each day I come to my powerpod, wake the sensors and it settles on orange and I have to do a calibration. Here's what I've done:
Powerpod = V3 with a pitot tube. F/W 9.01
1) I resurrected my powerpod after several months of not using power.
2) Connected to ISAAC, cleared the profiles and set up everything as per "first time use". Ignored the "new firmware" prompts.
3) Did the calibration ride
4) connected to ISAAC again. Could see both sensor ID's, profile name, bike details etc and the wind scaling and so on.
5) Upgraded from F/W 9.00 to 9.01
6) lived my life.
7) 7am next day, wake everything up, connect everything and....orange for calibration. WTF??
8) Calibration ride. Then ride to work.
9) end of day, wake it all up. Settles as connected and ready to go. Cycle home.
10) plug into ISAAC to see what's going on and only a single profile. The one I set up yesterday. I factory reset then set my ISAAC profile as the active profile in position 1 on powerpod.
11) Back to bike to check, repeatedly turn on / off / on etc and all connects fine. Turn all off.
12) 7am next day, wake it all up and settles at orange for a calibration ride. W.T.F?? I say. This time sack it, powerpod stays on my bench.
If I connect to ISAAC I can see the single profile I have set up, I can send to the device and I can set it as active yet I seem to have to keep doing calibration rides. Despite there being scaling numbers in the profile.
V9 f/w and previous it all worked perfectly.
