PP no battery power

Post by Kcblair »

Hello John, in regards to the PP not turning on or charging , seemed as though no power, no reset, no lights flashing, nothing. I tried charging with wall charger, nothing . As a last resort, I plugged the PP into my PC and tried a factory reset, the PP came alive ! Started charging, seems to be working. Only took 1-3 min. to fully charge , before the flashing red light turned off.

I'm going on a test ride today, will report on condition. My question, any ideas , what may have happen ?

(I think my email was a little vague . I did charge the PP the night before, and was fully charged. The following morning, it refused to turn on, as though the battery was dead. )

Thanks, Ken B.

Looks all is well, again. Wish I could understand what causes this, so i can be on alert. KB

If your PP is unresponsive, do a hard reset of it: press-hold button for about 12 seconds, until light goes out briefly and then starts flashing again. Release the button.

Thanks John, I did do this when the PP was in stand alone . I could only do the hard reset, once the PP was plugged into the PC. Thanks. Ken
(Been working properly since).
