Weird behavior for PPod

Post by alecs123 »

This past 5 days have been raining a lot down here... since I'm training hard for race I went out all days, not sure if water has done something to the powerpod, but Tuesday it stoped altogether to send data to bike computer (garmin edge 520 plus) and it seemed like it was completely dead. Did the 12 sec button press, nothing, connected to be charged, no light whatshoever.... next day I plugged in again the power and some the led was on this time, but kind in a secuence, green-red-orange, red...
then nothing. Connected it to the computer and it was like the powerpod was in a loop; I say this because every 6-7 seconds the download ride message was displayed and then showed no connection, then again the loop.
The curret state is that powerpod displays green led for around 1 min flashing. If I try to press 5 times to shut it down or press and hold for 5 or 12 secs, nothing hapens.
Please help, thanks

Please do a hard reset: press-hold for 12 seconds, until light goes out briefly and then starts flashing, then release button.

This should fix things but if not, please email technicalsupport@velocomp.com for next steps.
