AeroPod, PowerPod and Newton

Steve Jackson is an incredible triathlete who competes in the toughest Ironmans around.

He also lives in Jupiter Florida, where Velocomp is located!

Last October Steve did Ironman Kona, where he achieved a very respectable standing.

A few weeks after returning from Kona he competed in Ironman Florida...which he won!

Steve has been using AeroPod to quantify the improvements gained by equipment change, as well as ride position.

In this short video Steve shows you how he has set up AeroPod on his bike, and how he used AeroPod to quantify the CdA and Time Advantage benefit of changing from road bike clothing and helmet to skin suit and aero helmet.

The thing that most surprised me about the video is the mount he used (as well as the magnitude of CdA change). I thought it had to be really firmly attached, but he was getting away with a click-in GoPro mount.

We've personally tested that mount. It is super solid--no wiggling at all!
