Aeropod and VA questions

Post by HDPWR »

I thought it is best to create a new topic for my small questions:

Regarding powering down the AP: Should I use the 5-click shutdown at the end of my ride or will the AP automatically switch off after some time?

Regarding CdA values in the VA software: I don't fully understand why the software shows 3 different CdA values for one lap. I mean one CdA value in the lap table (for example lap one in demo ride, 0.441), then once selected, another Analyzed CdA value (0.406) and a third on the advanced stats table (0.428). Why is this last one different from the lap table?

Thank you for your reply!

AP will shut itself off after about 10 minutes of inactivity, or you can do the 5-click to do it immediately.

Advanced stats CdA is the default value in the profile. Demo ride is in profile 4; lap value is raw number measured; analyzed value is updated value after lap is finished. These numbers settle in after a few repeated laps.; more data is better.
