OMG ! I did it again ((PP mount)

Hello John, Last year I needed a battery replacement, now I was adjusting the PP and snugging the mount screw, and yes (1st time Ver 2?) I broke the Mount. How much for a Ver. 4 body ? And address to send .

Good day, John. Well, still not working. And went down the complete list of checks, as suggested by AI (ChatGpt). only one item left, un-install and re-install (that was a bite of a challenge the first time). Maybe I"ll save that for a rainy day. But, I have discovered , I can get the gps data ...

Re: VeloComp Tracker

Hello John, Since the servers have fixed, I've notice an issue with the app. Newton Tracker . It starts, the recording time starts, then after some time, it stops. I get maybe 0.25 mi. down the street, and the recording has ended. I appear to be logged in. Mid ride, I'll restart it, only to check la...

Re: Very High Heart Rate data

tachycardia ????

Hard reset on PP ??

Yes, I've using the new HR for at least 2 months, with normal readings. This was my last ride of the season . Never had an issue with Garmin. I'm indoors for the winter, and HR strap is performing normal.

Re: Very High Heart Rate data

Now that I look at previous rides, it's only this file, and was last ride of season . It looked normal in Garminconnect .

This is a new (2mos old) Garmin HR strap/monitor.

Very High Heart Rate data

Hello John, Just reviewing some data, and I noticed the HR data , along left side of data window , in both Velocomp and Isaac reads 6000 - 11000 bpm . Can't seem to find any setting to change this to read normal BPM .

Thanks, Ken B.

PP no battery power

Hello John, in regards to the PP not turning on or charging , seemed as though no power, no reset, no lights flashing, nothing. I tried charging with wall charger, nothing . As a last resort, I plugged the PP into my PC and tried a factory reset, the PP came alive ! Started charging, seems to be wor...

Re: Cadence Data dropping.

It is likely that the cadence battery is getting low. Replace it. A new battery will measure around 3.3V and when the voltage gets below 3.0, the PP sometimes starts losing the signal. The Garmin may still show all is well, but the PP will show dropouts or not even find the sensor at all. Tom Hello...

Re: Cadence Data dropping.

I would reset your cadence sensor (remove battery, insert backwards for 1 second, then reinstall properly), and also do a hard reset of your PP (press-hold button for about 12 seconds. Release button after light goes out momentarily, then starts blinking). After PP reset you'll need to reset time b...

Cadence Data dropping.

Hello John,

Noticed on my last 2 rides, the cadence data is missing in several parts of the ride, like i was coasting, but in Garmin Connect, it's all complete. I use the same sensor on all bikes. Battery is fresh.

Thanks, Ken B.

Can't find “silabser.inf”

Hello John, I've searched through all the extracted files in CP210x_Universal_Windows_Driver, and cannot locate the “silabser.inf”. And Velocomp Aero does not recognize the PP, but does so in Isaac . Thanks Ken B. There is this file, but is a text file. “silabser.inf”, but cannot execute (setup info...
