Velocom app and fimrware nightmare
I the past I used Isaac with no issue, then my company blocked all applications that were not authorized by the company (the only Windows computer I had was the company's). Fastforward to this day. Got a new windows machine unblocked, so downloaded the Velocomp Aero app, installed the dirver, initia...

Power Pod several issues lately
Hello... I own a PowerPod V3 that was upgraded to a V5 via software a few years ago. This past week I've been experiencing several issues: 1.- battery is dying very fast. On Fridya I charged the unit with the regular cable and wall power as I have been doing it in the past. Friday and Saturday rides...

Re: New bike computer
Thank you... That's what I thought initially, but then kept thinking that as the PP needs cadence/speed sensor, might be needed

New bike computer
My Garmin unit has seen better times so it was time to get a new bike computer. My question is if I need to do a new calibration process or just find the powerpod as a new power sensor in the new computer (igps igs800) and off I go?
Thanks in advance for such a silly question

Weird behavior for PPod
This past 5 days have been raining a lot down here... since I'm training hard for race I went out all days, not sure if water has done something to the powerpod, but Tuesday it stoped altogether to send data to bike computer (garmin edge 520 plus) and it seemed like it was completely dead. Did the 1...

Battery / charge issue
I got my PowerPod Lite (upgraded via software) and I think I've got the latest firmware. The last 2 weeks the unit has been performing very weird where it loses connection to my computer (garming edge 520+). MId ride sometimes I get a message that the battery of power sensor is low displayed in the ...

Idle - power off time?
Just wanted to know, how long will the PowerPod will remain in idle position before powering off? The reason is that normally our club rides some semi-long rides (from 60 to 120 KM). Most of the rides include a stopover for coffee or just a break. sometimes these stops are brief but most of the time...

Updating profile
Hello, this might be an obvious question/answer but just want to make sure before I mess up my current profile. Over the last 2 months, I've lost 20 pounds of weight, so I'm going to update my profile, my question is, this will need to do a recalibration ride, correct? I have a race on Sunday and wa...

Re: Test firmware for power measurement at low speed
John, finally I changed the new sensor, made a new calibration ride and a long split ride yesterday. The beta firmware seems to be working well. I tried to do a very slow climb, hopefully, I hit the threshold so you can evaluate the data.. By the way, when connected the PP to the Isaac software and ...

Re: Test firmware for power measurement at low speed
Hey John and gang... I uploaded the new beta FW and rode my bike for about 80Km in 2 segments (one from home to my LBS and then the propper ride) I thought to share the files for you experts to analyze and see if they would behave as intended. My remarks are that this FW seems to be more responsive ...

Re: Test firmware for power measurement at low speed
John, I'm in for the testing. I have the file, but a doubt emerged? When installing this new FW, will I need to recalibrate sensors? or if I just set my profile with the backup, PPod would just work? I ask because right now I have cadence and speed sensors that are independent (Melian) but I'm upgra...

Re: Strange behavior from PowerPod
It was weird... my Garmin was displaying random values then got stuck at 50 for a very long time, then it started to show "normal values" and then started to went off again. I did stop, this is a group ride that I make with my LBS one way up to the hill, stop for coffee and chats, and then...

Strange behavior from PowerPod
Last week I asked for help with my settings for a new bike: http://velocompforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=93&t=5764 John was kind enough to review my profile and sent a corrected one that I used since, but today's ride, PPod was doing something strange, it was like if it needed calibration, and also ...

I got the power pod lite and set up on my previous bike and all was good... Fast forward to today, after a crash 2 months ago, I tried to set it up on a new bike, this morning I took it for the 1st ride and did the calibration process, seemed good, I'm attaching the files generated. ok, the upgrade was installed in the Powerpod... I created a new profile with the phone app Power house, the difference is only the bike data as I have not changed that much... I'm not sure if I need to confirm the profile data within Isaac Software... As soon as I get the bike, will install the pow...
