Amen to that, brother.racerfern wrote:
I've found cadence to be the most important factor on a trainer so maybe for a future FW release the trainer mode will display cadence and time remaining in the bottom window.

Re: iBike display in trainer mode
Anyone in trainer mode yet? I gotta believe there are other display options, but maybe not.

iBike display in trainer mode
I have been using the iBike in trainer mode on my new rock and roll trainer. I love it, but how can I change the display so I can see other info like cadence? As it stands, I only see a display that alternates on the bottom between heart beat and time left in the interval.

Re: What's your fitness score and watts/kg?
49 y.o. level 6 @ 3.85 w/kg I trained hard this summer, but this is my first fitness test and it was done on my new Kinetic stationary trainer w/ iBike in trainer mode. I don't know if this makes the fitness results more or less accurate than if I had done it on the road. I did have the correct trai...

trainer mode - running fan
I recently began using my Ipro in trainer mode in my basement. After the first few "rides" and dripping sweat, I decided to set a box fan in front of me, which worked great. The Ipro measures the wind, which is about 11 mph, but I have to assume the trainer algorithm is ignoring the wind f...

Re: iBike paired with Power Tap
Great ! Also, is there some PT functionality that I loose by not having a PT meter? In other words, will the ibike collect, process, and display all the data from the wireless hub as the PT meter would? I did manage to find some PT hub-only options on ebay. Are there other sources for hub-only that ...

Re: iBike paired with Power Tap
So if I can use my ibike as the head, is it possible to just buy a powertap hub without the meter and save some bucks?

Re: Effect of Cross Winds
How did you actually feel at the end of the ride? More or less fatigued than usual? I went on a 20 mile trip out and back last week with a 15-20 mph, 90 degree constant crosswind the entire ride. I'll have to say that even though the overall effort seemed greater, I was really no more fatigued when ...

ipro mount for FSA K-wing carbon bars
Has anyone mounted the ipro to the FSA K-wing carbon bars? Just wondering if the mount will work on these handlebars?
Also, does a new ipro unit come with mounts for both stem and handlebars? I guess I'm wondering if both mounts are included in the box.
Thanks

crosswinds and/or rain
I'm new to the world of power and am considering buying the ipro. Could someone help me understand how this unit measures wind? Specifically, what if I am riding in a 20 mph, 90 degree crosswind? Theoretically my headwind would be my bike speed alone, correct? But a strong crosswind does make a pers...
