I have had the unit a little over a week now.
Initially the unit seemed to go into sleep mode after about 5-10 min on inactivity.
Somehow, after a ride yesterday, the unit has stopped going into sleep mode.
This would not be a problem for me except that I'm sure it will cause a consequent depletion of the battery to be driving the display and the processor all the time.
Can I re-initialize the unit without losing the calibration constants? I did read about the install the battery upside down procedure for a 'hard reset', but I'm sure that would lose everything.
Can I re-enter the constants manually thru the display UI if they are lost?
iSport has stopped going into Sleep mode
Re: iSport has stopped going into Sleep mode
Issue is now fixed.
I removed battery for 15-30 sec and re-installed.
I would think that this caused a 'soft reset'.
No data seems to have been lost in this process.

Re: iSport has stopped going into Sleep mode
When you remove your battery for this length of time you will totally reset the iSport.
All data is preserved except date and time. You'll need to reset these two items.
