3.09 - HR Monitor not working

Since upgrading to 3.09 I can't get my unit to pick up my HR monitor. I've changed batteries and cleaned it. Speed and cadence work fine. I checked the profile and the wireless ID is still there.

Can't find anything helpful in the forum or release notes.

Any help would be appreciated.

In WLS CFG have you set the HR to "FIND" ? It may have a new wireless ID. Leave the other sensors as is, just try the HR.

Also, do you have another strap hanging around?

I tried setting HR to FIND in WLS CFG; still no luck. I have other HR monitors but not another ibike strap.

Then the easiest way to narrow it down is find another rider with an iBike or Garmin HR strap. Put it to find and see if it finds the other rider's strap. Any Garmin strap will do. If it finds it the problem is your strap, if it doesn't the problem is the wireless head.

Either way you'll have to contact Velocomp but at least you'll know where the problem lies.
