Wireless ID's not being stored in Profile

Post by jlbeau »

Everyime I begin a new ride I need to enter Setup and scan/pair for the SPD, CAD & HRT sensor(s). It finds them just fine but i thought once i did it I did not have to do scan/pair for every subsequent ride. Presently this is not case. This problem reared its head after I upgraded software after 1/1 or when I changed out all my batteries also on or about 1/1. Can't tell which, if any caused the issue.

Can something be done to fix this constant scan and pair for the 3 sensors before every ride...........
Suggestions greatly appreciated...........Thanks........jlbeaujlbeau

Try hooking your iBike up to your computer and then go to profiles->extract profile from iBike. You may already have a matching profile. If you do, go to that profile and make sure there are numbers in the wireless IDs boxes and then re-send that profile to your iBike.

I am not sure if this will fix the problem, but you can be the guinea pig (and test my theory). We are working on a fix for why this is happening.

Coach--I posted the question on a different board and you gave me the same response. I tried it and it did not work. I do appreciate your response. Thanks

I've been having the same problem. Also whenever I connect to the iBike software it says "There are new wireless IDs in your head unit, would you like to update your profile with these IDs." or something like that. I click yes, but I still have to scan every time.
