Installed latest 4.0 ibike software today
Installed Windows 7 usb driver
Ran ibike software
Won't connect via any usb port to my iAero
Tried every USB port, tried opening and closing program then reconnecting - no connect error
Checked device manager - silicon labs software installed (no advisories)
Tried com 1 and com3 (where silicon labs software installed) - no connect error
I uninstalled and reinstalled 4.0 software and required windows 7 usb driver - still no connect error.
Any hints what to try next? I'm out of ideas.
Unable to connect IAero Gen II in Windows 7
Re: Unable to connect IAero Gen II in Windows 7
Are you running the full version of Windows 7? The silicon labs piece is not compatible with the 'starter' version.

Re: Unable to connect IAero Gen II in Windows 7
I'm running Windows 7 home edition.
I got it connecting this morning after updating an intel chipset driver for my USB enhanced controller. Whew! The motherboard is only about three weeks old and getting all the chipsets updated and whatnot is proving something of a chore.
Had me worried there for a bit.
Thanks for the suggestion.
