AeroPod, PowerPod and Newton

I have been using my iBike Pro with no problems for about 6 months so far. Now all of a sudden my power has gone crazy! I am getting power readings jumping all over the place during a ride. It's either zero'd out for a large portion of the ride or it's ridiculously high, like 2000 watts!! All other readings seem to be normal. I have also had the screen fading completely recently even with brand new batteries and high voltage readings. Is my unit faulty or am I doing something wrong?

One thing to check is how the device is measuring wind.

I had the same problem a few times. Each time I had the unit in ABS Wind mode (to show absolute wind speed). When the power readings were wild like that I checked the wind, and would usually show a very strong headwind. Redoing the wind cal fixed it.

I recently had a ride where I had to reset it 4 times before I was getting good numbers...

Weird eh?
