Will the iBike Aero work with the new SRM ANT+ that is is compatible with Shimano? http://www.srm.de/englisch/Wireless_release.html
Should we expect it to work like the Quarq/iBike setup?

Yes, but we don't have our hands on one just yet.

Re: SRM with iBike Aero
I'm expecting delivery of my SRM wireless 2008 dura ace this week, it has been on backorder for a few weeks.
From the other posts here, and my own experience, I don't know why one would want to use the iBike power data, if one already has SRM data.

Re: SRM with iBike Aero
It's not so much that it's double data, it's the combining of power info from a crank or hub based system with the abilities of the iAero to analyze environmental conditions. This yields live CdA data amongst other things. There are good references in the "Something Is In The Wind" post.
As it stands right now, you'll need the iAero to display the data from the wireless SRM. The Ege 705 can capture it also, but at this time the 705 only captures and displays it on screen. It doesn't display it in GTC. I'm not sure that WKO+ is setup to handle the new 705 tcx file structure.

We'll have SRM/iAero firmware next week.
As Fernando points out, the reason to use the iAero is both so you can see your SRM data (!) and because the iAero works in tandem with the SRM to provide aerodynamic and power information.
