Bug in firmware 423

Post by Velocomp »

We have received reports from a few customers that, after installing FW 423, the first few minutes of some of their ride files show crazy watts and incorrect slope.

We have determined that there is a bug in FW423 that can cause this problem. The problem happens whenever there is a significant barometric pressure change between the end of the previous ride and the beginning of a new ride.

Fortunately, this is an easy bug to fix and we will have FW 424 available later today. You'll be able to obtain FW 424 from your iBike software.

I wanted to let you know about this bug so that you knew that we were aware of the problem and that we will have it corrected just as soon as we can.

Wow that sure explains alot. Thanks for the quick fix, except that I tried to do the update and it still says I have the most current version 4.23. Will try again in the morning.

Is this bug also present in R4.21?
