No problems now, but would like some advice on tansfering Ibike software and files to a new computer. I'm sure some of you have gone through the process and perhaps can offer some advice. I'll also be switching from XP to Vista.

a tutorial maybe a great add to the techincal section regarding this topic.

The easy way to do it is to export your profile(s) to a *.ibp on the old computer and then import them on the new computer as discussed here: http://www.ibikeforums.com/viewtopic.ph ... 273&p=1510 Note that we are up to "iBike 2 v08.settings" if you try copying over the settings file directly.

Don't forget to copy your ride data over to the new computer also.

Hello Travis,

I'm operational on my new PC, got all my ride files transferred including all my old cd's / 4 mile rides associated with each profile I set up (3 profiles total). I tried to locate the "ibike 2 v06.settings" without any success (also searched v07 and v08) and export without any success. I guess i need a little bit more help. I can repeat cd's and 4 mile ride to create new profiles but would like to have my old profiles.........

Sorry for the delay in the reply. Did you get moved over to your new computer or do you still need help with that?
