Training for Climbing

I'm a rider with a sprinter's power profile, but this year I want to concentrate on developing my climbing. Obviously any excess weight needs to be shed, but my real question is about power training exercises for enhancing climbing ability. My guess is:
Climbing Intervals/Repeats at sub-Threshold (90-95%) LT
and long Climbs at a slightly lower %.
Is this right? I can stomp out stuff in the Anaerobic Level . . . it's sustained climbs that are my weakness.
The Ibike seems ideal for working on this....I only have the ISport, but I want to buy the upgrade to Pro.
Thanks,
Gary
