I want to use my Newton+ with a Schwin Mpower. what is the sequence of steps to do this. For reference here is an example with a Garmin watch. http://www.dcrainmaker.com/2011/07/spen ... -spin.html
I made the link this morning and it found the speed and power but then it asked for calibration and I didn't know what to push. I put the NP off to the side and it did manage to record the power output, cad an speed but not the HR. The speed is wrong but the power readings match the MPower readings.(attached file) Note I'm not sure if I had turned off the trainer mode at this point.
Thanks!

1) Do a "Scan" with your Newton+. The Newton+ will pick up the Mpower signal as a DFPM power signal. If you're wearing your HR strap, the Newton+ should pick up that signal, too.

2) Ignore any Cal requests from the Newton+; they don't apply to the Mpower

2) Do NOT put your Newton+ into trainer mode.

3) Do your riding. You'll see your Mpower data in the ride file when "View DFPM" is checked. Please note that the Newton data isn't valid, since this is an indoor ride.
