Hi John,
I'm wondering if you could check the attached Cal ride for me please. Prior Id noticed the power reading were reading high than I would expect.
Rider details; 75kg 1;78cm, bike+rider W 198lb, summer carbon bike on hoods, 700 x 25c Conti 4000 Sii at 90 rear 85 front.
I'm fairly happy its mounted correctly having had the PP for a few years and switched between winter and summer bikes and always input details again for the bike Im swapping over to so its fresh and accurate.
The ride is slight downhill for 100mtrs then a 90degree right at a small roundabout to follow a fairly straight/flat out before the return back ride. Light winds on the day.
Regards.
Tony.
Check my Cal ride please.

Re: Check my Cal ride please.
For the first 5 minutes of any new ride, PP is internally checking its settings.
Your ride file is only 3 minutes long, so it's tough to draw any conclusions about accelerometer settings.
Elevation data shows a slight UPHILL for the first minute, then a slight drop, then another slow elevation increase until the final minute of the ride.
Wind looks to be OK.

Re: Check my Cal ride please.
Hi John,
The 1st minute which you say was up hill should be a downhill minute which is strange!.
I've attached a 40 mile ride I did yesterday, Saturday, the first ride after the Cali ride I initially posted.
The beginning of the ride is mainly downhill for about 4 minutes then a short uphill before a flat couple of minutes.
From 9;20 to 13;20 was a uphill stretch at 4% average for 3/4 of a mile.
If you could have a quick look at that part and see if anything appears ok please.
Thanks again.
Regards.
TonySJ.

Re: Check my Cal ride please.
This is a very long ride file, over a widely varying course. It looks like you had sections with lots of wind. There are other sections where there is very little ground wind.TonySJ wrote: ↑Sun May 17, 2020 1:55 pm Hi John,

It MIGHT be that your wind readings are a bit high, but I can't tell for sure. If possible post another ride file where you have less ground wind, or a ride where you have more of a loop route.

Re: Check my Cal ride please.
Hi John,
This is todays, tuesday, ride of 21 miles in a loop.1400ft elevation. From about 24 minutes to 34 minutes the wind was a tail wind so I thought id mention that so it may help possibly.
If you could have a look at this file and give me your thoughts on if it looks OK.
Regards.

Re: Check my Cal ride please.
This looks OK. On some descents, while pedaling your watts seem a bit high. This could be because you are going into a tuck.TonySJ wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2020 11:53 am Hi John,
