Moving powerpod on same bike?

Hi

I need to move where my pod is on my handlebar but was wondering if it the same bike/rider/horizontal level (using spirit level), do I need to do a new out/back ride and/or calibration to dial back in?

Thanks

If you're changing significantly its position (say, from stem to edge of handlebars) or angle (from approximately level to pointing up 20 degrees) then I would do a new out-and-back ride.

Otherwise, just move it, ride 8 minutes, and all should be OK.

Ideal, only moving toward stem about 4cm in. Same clamp and will level using spirit level so should be fine, gather it will recalibrate itself or do I need to set it of manually (1-100 count?).

It will automatically recalibrate itself after 8 minutes of riding. You don't have to do anything except ride your bike! :-)

I took it out for a ride and noticed it started doing for 0-100 count calibration. Does this mean I need to manually load my profile into it again (the one you sent from my first out and back ride)?.

Cheers

Hmm...did you change sensors? That would trigger the 0-100 recalibration.

In any event, I don't think you need to do anything else.

No new sensor but was riding with other on a recent ride and think it was pairing strangly.

Anyway, even after that will still have the old profile in it?

That explains it...if you accidentally paired to another sensor on a previous ride, then back to yours, that would re-trigger the 5 minute calibration.

The rest of your profile will remain unchanged, so no worries.

Hi,

Done a couple of rides now and think ok but still getting the odd strange reading at times and when run through calibration analysis on issac still saying noticeable change to apply (I haven't).

Please can you have a quick look and let me know if think should change anything?

Happy new year.

Something has gone "wonky" in our Check Calibration feature...I suspect it has to do with Dynamic Crr.

Your original ride file is fine and I would leave it alone. There is no problem with any of its readings.

Ideal,I'll get riding then (the figure was way down compared to my FTP test of a turbo :-( )

Rider Weight wise how often should it change it? Does it impact the other figures or is it ok just the change rider weight and upload profile to pp?

Thanks again, you guys are great!!! Already sold you to 2 others in my club.
