Odd PowerPod Behavior

Post by ianc »

Hi Guys,

So I'm using a powerpod I bought last year. After some early issues with the USB port and charging, I was able to get relatively useful information out of it during the summer and fall months. I've been on the trainer over the winter, and today I took the PP out on the road for the first time in about a month. Seemed to be working fine for the first 40 min or so, then the wattage readings started to go down. At around min :55, the unit stopped sending power data. Average power for the last 5 min before the unit quit transmitting was 29.7 watts.

Any idea what could be going on? Pretty frustrating since I lost about 2:30 hours of power data from my 3+ hour ride. I've attached the ibr file.

Thanks,

--Ian

Your wind sensor is behaving peculiarly.

Make sure nothing is blocking it.

Do a few more ride files and if the problem persists email technicalsupport@velocomp.com
