My son and I use the same bike. We have our own profile in the PowerPod, but is it necessary for each one to do a out-and-back ride? Or is calibration linked to the bike?

Just curious: what does calibration do?

The calibration ride customizes PowerPod profile settings for the sensors, mounting angle, and PowerPod location.

The out-and-back ride adjusts the profile for the physical location of PowerPod on the bike.
