New PP v5 and a lot of issues

After my PP3 die for no reason, I just update to a PPv5 and was expecting the same process as the PP3 but to my surprise, it looks like there are several issues with my new PPv5.
To start, I need to keep hard resetting (12s button press) it because it locks up. I have done a reset at least 10 times, during charging it never wakes up (the light was off and I though it was charged), then during the first pairing process (4s button press) and then during download the ride data, the red light stay on, and the app (gray USB logo) says it was disconnected (although the COM port was there). Next, almost every time that I use the new Velocomp app, the PP locks up and I need to hard reset. Then I change to Isaac and at least it hasn't lock up so far. I'll post if it locks up again.
Lock up issues aside, the data makes no sense. I see that during the ride, but I though some configuration that I missed, however, although my CRR was too low for a MTB 2.3 tire, it doesn't explain the amount of error. I use the "Power meter compare tool" on Isaac (any plans to include it on Velocomp) and the power is correctly calculated if I use "speed/wind/elev", but using "speed/wind/slope" shows the same error as the PP during the ride. It looks like the slope is not correctly calculated, the graph looks ok though. The elevation is off, but that was around the same error I had with the PP3, -100m, but that doesn't explain the error on slope as the equation of motion calculates correctly my power.
Lastly, my activity files are different size if I download them using Velocomp vs Isaac, by 3x.
The attached files have the date changed because as I said, I need to hard reset the PP in order to make it work.
Thanks for your help!
