Velocomp Aero:Unable to create a new profile

Problem: I am unable to create a new profile. I use many time Velocomp Aero with no success and one time Isaac with no success.

Description of what I did:

1. Replace batteries both speed and cadence and check the batteries before install them. BTW I also tried 2 different Garmin speed sensor jic.

2. Reset to Factory default all the profiles
Also Edit/edit/profiles and delete all the profiles.

3. Device /setup/ Factory Default #4
Best Accuracy

4. Quit

5. Place device in mount and pair device

6. Both speed and cadence were recognized

7. Yellow light then green red flashing.

8. Go to starting point and press the button. Aeropod start to see "power" 1 , 2, 3, 4, 5 then turn to zero and no more increases, (it should go up to 50 red light than turn around) I have never been able to see the yellow light going out, after it drops to zero green/red flashing lights. If I press the button again it repeats the same thing.

9. I had a profile saved so I uploaded and install it and it is working OK. So the problem seems to be in creating new profiles. I have all the updates available for Velocomp Aero and firmware.

Am I doing anything wrong?
Missing a step?
Are the sequences I used 1-falctory reset 2. Device Setup 3. Pairing 4. Click and ride in the correct order?
I have read all the document many times the old ones and new ones and after many days and many hours of trying different setups I decided to post it.

There may be a problem with your unit. Please email technicalsupport@velocomp.com for next steps.

Hi Terry, have you been able to fix it? I have the same problem after updating to the newest firmware.

There is a bug. We hopefully will have a fix on Monday, Jan 6

A new version of VA (1.0.7) is now available. Please install it.

After installing VA connect your unit; you should get a prompt to install new FW. Install the new FW.

The new version of VA and new FW should fix your problem.

Thank you, John. I've just tried it out indoors (spinning the wheel), and it's looking good (goes from red/green to flashing yellow now). I will confirm once the weather gets better.
