Hi is Hi Def recording possible in trainer mode?
I have been playing around with various options to get a satisfactory "curve" used for our rollers.
If I use trainer mode it seems I lose powerstroke.
Perhaps this is just a 'default' and I can change a setting?

PowerStroke is turned off in trainer mode, because your bike isn't free to move around while on a fixed trainer.

Thanks John.
In our case we're on actually rollers and I'd say there is more movement than on the road (enough to show up on the altitude profile if in non-trainer mode). Certainly plenty of side to side too.
I guess for my purpose I could use non-trainer mode and convert the power data myself afterwards?
I might revisit some prior files recorded like that.

for what it's worth, here is power-stroke image from rollers done without trainer mode.
of course the problem is that power is near zero
