Hi,
I'm using PowerPod on two bikes (road and TT) and both of them shows the same problem - I think that I'd need the help with configuration of the device so it would show me the proper data.
I send you two folders from Isaac - one from TT bike (time trial, no drafting, 3 laps). The rough data shows me the heavy front wind all the time which was definitely not so and drafting. The other folder is from road bike and the tail wind is visible during all my ride as well.
There has to be something with configuration that I've missed but the wind is all the time causing problems to the device. Could you help please?

Re: Tail Wind
Here's what I did:
1) I used the "Analyze/Return to Original Download" command to get back your original data. Just as you said, both profiles had problems.
2) I used the "Analyze/Check Calibration..." feature to adjust your profile. Note that this command works only with solo rides, and assumes an out-and-back ride. Your rides looked pretty good
3) After using the Check Calibration feature, I used "Edit/Edit Profiles..." to get your corrected profile.
4) I did the above steps for each bike.
The speed/cadence sensor ID is the same for both bikes! It looks like you are using the same bike for both configurations, or are you moving the sensor back and forth from bike to bike?
The corrected profiles are attached. Load them into your PowerPod. Since you have two different profiles, make sure you select the correct profile in PowerPod with the "Device/Set Active Profile" command before loading the corrected profile.

Re: Tail Wind
Thanks for the help.
I use two different sensors - one for each bike. But you are right that there could be some problem as well as not al the time it recognize which bike I'm riding.
I couldn't upload the tweaked profiles to PowerPod. It says me that Fric is out of range (I see there friction = -0,670 for both of the profiles)

Re: Tail Wind
The problem is that your original 5 minute ride was "off". Your frictional component is negative (that is, riding down the road actually speeds you up!) so the profile change won't stick.
Here's what to do:
1) Go to Device/Setup/Reset Profile
2) Reset the profiles that have the negative coefficient
3) Re-pair the profile to the sensor
4) Do a 5 minute ride, followed by an out-and-back
5) Use the Command Analyze/Check Calibration to adjust the profile
Post ride file results after you have them!

Re: Tail Wind
Sorry it took me so long....
I made it as you told(at least I hope
) and here is the file from the ride.
From my the numbers looks better than before.
Let me know how is it.
Thanks,
Martin
