I just setup a second profile for my road bike, and it is not connecting to my garmin edge 1000. It was fine before this. Basically once I paired to the road bike sensors, then clicked it so it became green, it never showed up on my garmin. Then went into calibration mode so I did a calibration ride.
But it still won't connect to my garmin now. I removed the existing entry from my garmin and searched for another power meter but nothing.
Haven't yet tested to see if it will pair with the garmin when on the original bike (a mtn bike) where it had been working fine.
I looked through the profiles on Isaac and while it shows the sensor id numbers, doesn't show the garmin edge id anywhere as far as I can tell.
For that 20 minutes between switching bikes - can I just use the isaac software to switch back to the original profile rather than waiting 20 minutes?
powerpod and 2nd bike - no longer connects to garmin e1000

Make sure you have paired your PP to the bike sensors of your second profile. PP does not "copy" over sensor IDs between profiles.
Once PP has working sensors for the profile, it will transmit power data.

Yep, the profiles show different sensor id's for the 2 profiles in isaac. Though I noticed my garmin being weird saving rides the last 2 days, so I just reformatted my SD card in it to see if perhaps it was having some issue there.

Make sure PP shows solid green light before pairing to Garmin.

ok, looks like my edge 1000 was just in an odd state, even after reformatting the external SD card, had to power cycle it a few times before it would mount as a usb storage device. Now it can see the power pod again.
Might be some issue related to the recent 10.0 firmware? Though I think that was a couple of weeks ago. Will see if stable.

We aren't responsible for Garmin's quirks...

It was odd - my garmin has been rock solid for the last 2 years, strange coincidence that it started acting odd when setting up a second bike for my powerpod!
