I am new to the PowerPod but I have read almost every thread in this topic as well as the instruction pdf and I did not see something that came to mind when I was riding today.
The PP does an 8 minutes automatic recalibration at the beginning of each ride or after a > 20 minutes stop. I do not know what parameters re calibrate BUT if wind is one of them, then half of my calibration were no correct. I ride often with other people so IF I draft for the first 8 minutes that will be a problem. In summary do I have to do a solo ride (or be at the front of the group) for the first 8 or 10 minutes?
The files I attach are from todays ride. The first one (36 mls) the first 8 minutes I was behind another guy (drafting) The second one (17 mls) is after a coffee brake and I rode at the front during recalibration (NO drafting). BTW cadence and HR did not show up I do not know why it did not pair, Garmin was OK, but this is another topic.
