Riding Tilt (%)

Post by pb21 »

How much do I need to 'worry' about this value?

Having had the PowerPod for the past few weeks I have been checking the calibration post ride, particularity after out & back TTs.

The wind scaling value seems pretty consistent and I am happy with that (~1.4), however the Riding Tilt (%) value changes every time, from -0.3, to -0.4, to -0.3, to -0.5, to -0.7 and then yesterday to +0.1, with the associated 'Fric' value changing quite a bit as a result.

Is the Riding Tilt (%) a measure of how horizontal the PowerPod is? If so I though that it constantly calibrates during the ride so presumably the profile value doesn't matter?

Any advice?

Thanks

This value relates to how your PP is positioned on your handlebars. If you put PP in the IDENTICAL position for each ride, the value won't vary by much.

If your PP does change position, then the other values will automatically recalibrate. So, you don't have to worry.
