PPV5 suddenly went crazy - mid ride

Hi John,

here you have 2 files.
I was riding today and near the one-hour the figures went crazy. The power went up and the wind showed always 0 and sometimes strong headwind.
I continued my ride, and power off the pp.
Some minutes later i turned it on but te figures still were bad and i decided to did not care about them.
Later at the very end of the ride i think (not sure) that things seems to be nice again.

Just to your information iam ALSO attaching a past week ride.

A strange behaviour is that (i think again) the only way the pp shows tailwinds is in the group rides.
I usully ride in a loop and also today (the very fisrt hour) i saw headwind and in the back portion ALSO saw headwinds (low than in the go portion but headwinds).

Were you riding in rain or mist? It looks like your wind sensor is getting blocked by something...

If it isn't rain we might need to look at your unit. Please email technicalsupport@velocomp.com for next steps.

Hi John,
1 need your knowledge to check my today files as i changed the ppv5 position in my TT bike. Its almost the same place...but i detached all, dessasbled the bike and many days later, i did the rebuilt.

2 i saw the new wireless pp!!! its posible to make a trade with the new AEROPOD or should be the PP?

Hi Johh,

The following situtaton is happening since some time ago when i changed for a new Edge 1050. Now i can confirm as so many rides were done and i "discovered" when it is happening.

I have installed (deleted, reinstalled, etc etc) the aeropod2 app into my garmin field for the PPv5. Now i CANT only show the Slope+wind as the previous version in my PP that is not so good to PP users. Even the field is large, the 4 data fled is too much when you only need 2 figures.

Anyway the big problem is when i hit a lap button, inmediately the app gets freeze. The field "desappear" and an "IQ icon" replaces the data.

My Edge and the PP are both in the latests frmwares and the only way to fix are 2:

1 while still riding, entering the field, and do the setup again reinstalling the field.. i made it several times and it works...but its too dangerous and...awkward.
2 never touching the lap button

both solutions are a mess.

Do you have some tricks or hints for this?

The Edge 1050 requires an update to our app. The developer working on this has not finished the update.

i did several rides recently and this is the one for today.

The IQ field for the PP stills do weids things when i hit the lap button. It crashed every time.

ALSO i did like 20 laps, but the file only shows 3.

Our connectIQ app has not been updated for 1050 compatibility. You should expect weird results as a consequence.

The developer who was working on the update has "disappeared", so we are currently at square zero.
