Pitot Tube

Post by spangelsaregreat »

Hi,

Thinking of upgrading to a V3 PowerPod with the main reason being I am hoping using a Pitot tube would reduce the amount of times the PowerPod stops working in the rain. I was hoping to get one from Probikekit.com in the UK but they do not offer the Pitot tube as an accessory. I would buy a Pitot tube from you directly but for an item costing 9 dollars the shipping is 80 dollars!! Can it not be sent for cheaper?

I was considering buying the V3 using your trade in option as this is cheaper but I am bit concerned the import and tax would not make it worthwhile. Also buying from the UK makes it easier to deal with warranty issues.

No worries, we can ship the pitot tube by first class mail. I'm not sure what the cost is but Tom will let you know; it is a lot less than $80!!!

I can't assess the economics of import tax vs trade-in value.

I had the same question. I am from Canada. I want to buy a pitot tub from your website, $9. but the shipping is $11, which is more than the product itself.

We don't make any money from shipping. This is what it costs us to ship the pitot tube by first class mail to an international destination.
