Hello Guys, Had to replace my Heart Rate monitor sensor/strap . Will I need to do a re-calibration to add or just live without that data ? Data is also collected in my Garmin software .
Thanks. KB
New Heart Rate monitor sensor.
Re: New Heart Rate monitor sensor.
Whenever you do a new sensor pairing then yes, that will force a new calibration ride.
There is a way to get around the forced new calibration ride in Velocomp Aero:
1) Do a new sensor pairing of all sensors
2) Connect your unit to VA
3) Select "Device/Configure Device..."
4) From the dropdown menu select "Config/Setup Calibration"
5) Select the Target Profile you are currently using, then select "Configure Manually"
You should be able to ride with your existing profile, but with your HR data added to your ride file.

Re: New Heart Rate monitor sensor.
Wow ! Thank you John. Just to clarify , item 1, is just the procedure . I don't perform anything until step 2, correct . Sounds easy enough.
Re: New Heart Rate monitor sensor.
In step 1, you wake up all your sensors, including HR, and then press-hold your PP button for 4 seconds, until it starts flashing. Release the button. Your sensors will pair to your PP, and your PP will be put into calibration mode. Then, proceed to step 2.

Okay, I got to step 5, all I see is "Profile ready to Go" and "Force Calibration ride ", which I did not press yet. I don't see "Configure Manually"

Re: New Heart Rate monitor sensor.
Ooops, sorry John, one last question, should I perform this procedure , just prior to going on a ride ? Or just turn off after the procedure ? My bikes are stored next to a computer, so what ever you suggest, works. Again, thank you. KB
