I have a question on calibrating a Gen 3 iAero.
To create a profile, can I do the 4 mile cal ride, and record it with a non Ant+ power meter then sync the 2 in Ibike 3/profiles, and not do the coast downs? or do you need the coast downs also with this?
I do thank you for your help

creating a profile for my Gen3 iAero
Re: creating a profile for my Gen3 iAero
Yes, if you use a wired SRM, Ergomo, or Power Tap you can use the txt or csv and import that data to match the wind scaling and riding tilt to make a profile. This only works with the iAero though.

Interestingly enough, I did this just the other day...
No coast downs required.
Do your 4 mile cal ride with a functioning DFPM.
Download the cal ride from iAero into IB3.
Download the data from your DFPM. Save as a CSV file.
There is a tab on the right that says "Bring your own DFPM". Click it.
IB3 will ask you to open the ride file from your DFPM. Browse to and open the CSV you saved.
Click "calculate".
IB3 will now calculate your iAero profile. SAVE IT then SEND IT to your iAero.
Hope this helps!
